The Moyie Lake Valley strives to be a prepared community ready to respond to any disaster or emergency.
In preparation, the Moyie Volunteer Fire Department has developed Emergency Response Plans for three (3) individual zones in the Moyie Lake area.
These plans are constantly evolving and go hand-in-hand with the British Columbia Emergency Management System.
Residents are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the Emergency Plan that affects their area of the lake,
In addition, the community maintains a supply of provisions including freeze-dried foods, camp cots, bedding and hygiene products which enable us to shelter and feed the public as needed.
